Portfolio

Selected Work

Our portfolio reflects a range of interior projects across sportfish and yachts, from full new builds to refits and ongoing interior partnerships. Each project represents a collaborative effort shaped by the ownerʼs vision, the realities of the vessel, and close coordination with builders, captains, and trades.

Rather than following a single aesthetic, our work is defined by thoughtful planning, functional execution, and attention to detail that holds up in real use.

New Builds

New Build Interior Partnership

New yacht builds require a different level of planning, coordination, and timing. Interior decisions made early — and with the full build in mind — have a direct impact on schedules, budgets, and execution throughout the project.

Stuart Design Company partners with owners, builders, and captains early in the new-build process to ensure interior planning moves alongside construction rather than reacting to it. Our role is to anticipate decisions before they become urgent, coordinate scope holistically, and provide clear direction that supports the build at every stage.

By approaching new builds through a structured, phased process, we help reduce late-stage changes, prevent unnecessary delays, and deliver interiors that are both thoughtfully designed and properly executed.

Our Process

Phased Design Approach

For new yacht builds, interior decisions need to be made early and coordinated carefully to support construction timelines and execution. Our process integrates interior planning directly into the build, allowing scope, finishes, and furnishings to be addressed in the right sequence and with the full project in mind.

Phase I

Planning & Design Alignment

Define interior direction and material intent early to support planning, pricing, and engineering before construction begins.

Phase II

Construction Design & Hard Finish Coordination

Coordinate interior details and hard finishes alongside the build to keep selections ahead of schedule and aligned with construction.

Phase III

Interior Finishes & Installation Coordination

Plan and install soft goods and final interior elements with oversight to ensure a cohesive, owner-ready delivery.
